During my trip there were two kinds of cafes unique to the area that I set out to look for, a maid cafe and a cat cafe. Happily I found both!
The cat cafe (a place where you pay a small fee to go hang out in a really large room with comfy sofas, and a bunch of adorable cats) was located in the Sunshine City area.
They do not serve food there but you can bring your own if you wanted to.
Here are some of the pics that I took while hanging out with cats!
I originally read the steps on how unlock the classic cam over on Powrdup and decided to do a quick video of how to do it so you can see the classic cam in action.
With Tamara finally arriving home shortly (yay!) it looks like my stay here will soon be over (nooo!). I just wanted to thank all the readers of the site here and, of course, That Girl herself for letting me fill in for a few days while she was having the time of her life in Japan.
I didn’t get to post very much during this week, because I was a bit under the weather… but I figured I could leave a few updates now.
- The Resident Evil 5 downloadable content “Lost in Nightmares” seems mandatory for any fans of the series. It’s only an hour long and doesn’t have much combat, but the back-story is worth it alone. Oh, and you play as Chris and Jill. That should be enough!
- The Adventures of PB Winterbottom on Xbox Live Arcade is one of the best games out on the service. It’s a puzzle-platformer that’s a bit like Braid, but it definitely holds its own. At least download the demo and give it a shot. It has a ton of style and personality.
- The leaked Sonic 4 footage came out and wasn’t too bad to look at. Hopefully they’ll make his jumping a bit less floaty so it’s more like the originals.
Aside from that there wasn’t too much else this week. Again, I just want to thank Tamara, and all the readers here. It’s not everyday you get to guest-spot on a site that matters. Hopefully ours will matter one day too.
I wanted to have a video ready for Bioshock 2’s release date but I recently got a new camera and my laptop seems to hate it which causes the programs I use to crash all the time.
Here is a scene from very early on in the game which leads into the games first achievement/trophy.
F’ describing this, I am going straight for the “Do Want!”.
Ok, maybe a little description for those who might not recognize what is pictured above. Modeled after the plush version of the Big Daddy seen being carried around by the Little Sisters in the game Bioshock. It is 7inch tall and will retail for $24. No word on the release date but I’ll try to update if I find out when.
Some of the reviews that I saw on the app store were a bit misleading on features and settings in the game, saying that you couldn’t change settings or the opacity of the HUD control icons. You can alter these things, icons on your screen can be made lighter and less visible, button placements can be switched, plus custom soundtracks are supported in the game.
I did a brief video showing where you can find these things, enjoy.
In this video I give a brief description of the game Bayonetta, which was published by Sega and released last week for the PS3 and 360.
Other than some views on how the gameplay is I also included some tips/hints/secrets in caption bubbles to help further your experience with this over the top action fun-fest game.
Bayonetta is very addictive and the gameplay is extremely smooth, however some may be turned off by the story’s wacky side, and over the top cutscenes.
Expect a lot of crotch shots and ‘Flock off feather face’ type one liners and you’ll have a good time with this game.
I recommend to at the very least give it a rent to try it out, though for me I was super happy that I purchased it and will continue to replay the levels just for fun.
I incorrectly stated this area would be a good place to level up, I was level 50 which is the highest level and didn’t realize this area does not give you experience. Still a very fun expansion!
I received the DSiLL as a Christmas gift so I figured I would size it up against the other current available portables to show just how big the DSiLL really is.
I really like the bigger screen things are a lot easier to see, it is however pretty heavy.
Hi!
I usually post a lot of random things about video games, movies, comics, manga, toys, zombies, and other geeky stuff.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you enjoy your stay!
