Anyone else here ever watch the show Firefly or the movie Serenity? The show didn’t really last that long but it was pretty awesome.

Mal was the best part of the show, and he looks so cute in this animated style.

The 4 1/2-inch resin statue shows Mal ready for action: Gun drawn and browncoat billowing behind him as if he’s just taken a bead on some Purple Belly who’s earned his righteous ire. Details in the maquette include screen-accurate sculpts of his boots, suspenders, even his pistol.

This statue is limited to 1000 pieces and will run you about $45, you can pre-order it here.

I loved the Gunslinger Girl series so I’m contemplating on getting this Henrietta statue. She’s a bit pricey coming in at over $100, but she doesn’t come out till October so I have some time to think about it.

I picked up some new anime today, I bought the first Blood+ boxset and the first volume of Lucky Star. I’ll check them out this weekend.

This is something that should be mass produced so that several people could purchase it and display it in their home, or just made available for me to purchase because I really want this.  This was created for a deviantART/Capcom contest and it placed 3rd which I’m a little surprised that it didn’t take the top but congrats to all the winners because they were all awesome entries.

This statue was created by *fireeyes-dragon using “Super sculpey over wire and foil armature, acrylic paints, silk flower petals.”

Here is a pic of an upcoming Joker statue, you can also see a pic of a Batman statue in the back. The details on this piece are awesome and I believe the release date for this statue is in July/August.

I totally missed this one, I don’t even know when this came out. It’s pretty hard to keep up with things when you have so many damn hobbies. My head is going to explode. There are only 2,499 of these out there, actually its 2,500 but you have to take away the one that I am totally buying. She’s going for $110 and you can order her here

I guess this is pretty cool but $155 is pretty expensive for something based on an older game, there’s an awful lot of DM3 statues and figures coming out. I just think it would make more sense to put out stuff based on the 4th game and not the older ones. For more information go here

Robbie the rabbit is one of the scariest things to come out of the Silent Hill series. I was always terrified to walk by him while playing SH3, I just kept thinking he was going to get up and kill me. I was looking through ebay to see if they had any Silent Hill Play Novel’s listed when I came across this: 

There are a few different versions on Ebay, some with blood some without, some on a Silent Hill base and some of a Lake Side Amusement Park base. The Lakeside Amusement Park one is my favorite base, and of course I’m going to post the one covered in blood.

I just wanted to post about how much I love the character Plenair, she’s my favorite character from Disgaea (which also happens to be one of my most favorite games.) I dig her so much that this has been my laptop’s background ever since I got it for X-mas 2 years ago.

I recently saw a figure of her over at Kid Nem0 that I need to order asap! (it costs about $50)

And to top it off there is a resin kit that I plan to order once I finish painting and putting together a Princess Eclaire from La Pucelle Tactics. (If you like to paint and put together resin kits check out here)

I need more Plenair in my life

If you are a fan of Nippon Ichi games then you might recognize this character from the game La Pucelle Tactics, or perhaps as a hidden boss in the game Disgaea. The statue is really nicely designed but perhaps when they designed the character they should have thought about giving her a bra.

I need to put up my shelves before I order any more statues but maybe I’ll get her anyway and keep her sealed until I put a few more shelves up.
