The Ame Comi series has been pretty much my favorite figure series this year and now added (to the already awesome) line-up of DC females are Black Canary and Huntress.

They don’t come out until August of 09 but I can’t wait to pick up both, especially Huntress who looks bad ass.

Anyone else here ever watch the show Firefly or the movie Serenity? The show didn’t really last that long but it was pretty awesome.

Mal was the best part of the show, and he looks so cute in this animated style.

The 4 1/2-inch resin statue shows Mal ready for action: Gun drawn and browncoat billowing behind him as if he’s just taken a bead on some Purple Belly who’s earned his righteous ire. Details in the maquette include screen-accurate sculpts of his boots, suspenders, even his pistol.

This statue is limited to 1000 pieces and will run you about $45, you can pre-order it here.

Height: Approx 7 inches
Head: “Stiching” made out of real metal (see picture) and looks EXCELENT in person.
Arms: Real mini-chains used on the arm bands.
Chest: Real zipper used for chest / body.
Belt: Fine detailed hand painted belt (see close up picture below)

I started writing this post like 3 days ago and for some reason stopped and thought it was posted… but it wasn’t.

The plushie above is a zombie and he can be taken apart and put back together, you can also mix and match his limbs. I tried this with some of the plushies I have at home and once they were taken apart I couldn’t put them back together.

Erick Scarecrow’s Kissaki vinyl figure is getting a new colorway, I think this is the 3rd one. This one will be limited to 288 pieces and will run you about $70.

I wish they had sets like this for sale but sadly they don’t.
