Sunday I took a trip to Super Potato which is a retro game store in the back streets of Akihabara, Japan. Actually, calling it a retro game store is doing a disservice to one of the, if not the coolest gaming spots in the entire world.
You can find almost anything on one of the shops floors, you can take the elevator to the top floor and play a few different old school games on one of their many cabinets. On the lower floors you can find used Famicon systems for reasonable prices, Game & Watches, easy to find and rare games on many different systems. They even carry PCFX, and Vectrex games.
Super Potato also carries video game music soundtracks, odd toys, rare plushies, and their walls are covered in 8-bit art.
Check out some of the pics, and if you are every in Japan be sure to go to Super Potato!

On January 27th a PS3 slim bundled with a blu-ray version of “This is it” will be hitting Japan stores, and only Japan stores. I personally think they should have made the system glittery silver.
Made by a friend for a friend this Naruto DSi features a black and grey character image on the top of the system, a metallic orange (pic makes it look yellow but it’s orange) inside with matching orange triggers.
The Super Nintendo Entertainment System raised the bar for video game designers around the globe when it was released in 1991. Featuring true stereo sound, multiple scrolling backgrounds and almost twice the internal memory as its competition, the SNES was home to the best games of its day. Backed by an all-star lineup of games like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Country and Super Metroid, the Super NES sold more than 20 million systems in the U.S. and 49 million systems worldwide.

I know people who now play more games, tweet, and text while they poop. I don’t know why they do these things while they poop, I don’t know why they tell me about them doing these things while they poop but it has definitely increased since the iPhone became so popular.
I don’t do any of these things while I poop… because I am a magical lady and we don’t poop.
This shirt will run you $18 and you can order it here.
