I’m lucky enough to have just gotten the Bioshock 2 Special Edition in house so I thought I would post some pics and give a quick breakdown.
The special edition comes with
- Vinyl 180g LP Bioshock 1 orchestral score and frameable jacket
- Audio CD with Bioshock 2 ochestral score
- 3 vintage Rapture advertisements
- Bioshock 2 Art Book, 164 pages 8 1/2 x 11 hardcover
The special edition retails for $100 and with the game coming in at $60, the hardcover art book makes the extra money for this purchase worth it on its own. It’s possibly the best art book I have ever gotten in a special edition.
The box that everything comes in is also pretty fantastic, it’s extremely high quality.
The covers for regular and special edition are the same, both have that metallic-shine.
So, if you were pondering getting the special edition it is totally worth it.
