A few hours ago Kristen Bell posted on twitter that she was interested in doing a Veronica Mars movie, a few minutes later she followed up with this tweet: “ok i have been asked to ask you guys to say #veronicamars so it can go in the hot topics part? i think i understand this- wanna do it?”
It took about an hour for it to become one of twitters trending topics.
Question: Do you think the use of Twitter has the power to get movies made?

I think so, depending on the demographic for the movie. If it’s the sequel to something random like a sequel to Nights In Rodanthe or 27 Dresses, I doubt the movie bigwigs will be looking to twitter for any sort of advice.
