Oldboy remake in the works…

I saw Oldboy when it was released for a limited time in the US theaters and I dug it, it was pretty weird but it had some amazing fighting scenes. Even though I liked the movie I don’t think it should be remade.
Often when movies like this get Americanized remakes it loses something and I can’t think of many remakes that were better than the original (except maybe The Ring).
If you have never seen Oldboy it originally came out in 2003 and you can find it on DVD pretty easily. (I just checked and Netflix has it on DVD and Blu-ray

Nunca me han gustado los remakes que hacen los americanos de películas extranjeras (entiéndase fuera de USA) y personalmente encuentro una aberración que traten de hacerlo con OLD BOY una película de culto, increíble y que ha sido lo mejor que he visto del cine oriental (perdóname Takeshii Mike) junto con sus dos otras películas.
Por cierto me encanta tu blog y lo leo siempre, no voy a postear en ingles por que me da pereza, desde el fin del mundo (Punta Arenas, Chile) saludos.

I agree Oldboy is a great cult movie and the fight scene in the hallway was AMAZING.
