I was playing Left 4 Dead last night and at the end of one of the levels my ‘friends’ actually left me for dead by getting on to a truck while I was being attacked by the horde.

I don’t think I’ve slept at all these past 2 days it’s pretty much been non-stop hanging out, movie watching, video game playing, pancake making, trip to Japan planning, bar hopping, with a few hours of work thrown in for good measure.

At some point yesterday a friend of mine convinced me to watch Masters of Horror: Jenifer with her because we didn’t learn our lesson from the episode Masters of Horror: Pro-Life we watched about an hour before.

Jenifer is the story of a hideously deformed young woman who is saved by some cop after some other dude dragged her into the woods to try to cut her head off. Officer Frank seeing the young girl in trouble shoots and kills the attacker and brings her home because she has no other place to go….

Though she’s described as a young woman I’m pretty sure that she’s an alien because that bitch ain’t human.

For some odd reason the (married) cop falls into some kind of lust/love and tries to protect this crazy looking chick even though she chased away his family, ate his cat, ate the little girl next door, and ate a circus worker that he hired to try and take her away …

No one seems to notice people going missing and Frank is able to head off just fine to another town to go chill with this beast in the woods so that they can try to start a new life together. This new life doesn’t stop her from eating people so he then tries to drag her off into the woods to kill her but is stopped and is shot by some hunter. So this movie ended pretty much how it started, and she probably lived on to go eat more people because no one seemed to realize she was not human…

I’m pretty much running on fumes right now and can’t remember the point of this post…except I guess to not watch this.

I won’t be able to get any sleep for another couple of hours because I’m currently at a friends house ( I stole his laptop to write this post) and if/when I get home I’ll want to see the season finale of Dexter.

I don’t normally post things at 2am but I’m just settling in from a Saturday night out and I wanted to check out the Batman: Arkham Asylum teaser trailer.

Korean monster movie The Host has landed on the pile of movies getting Americanized remakes, and just like the others it really doesn’t need one. Maybe it’s just me, I don’t mind reading subtitles so I usually watch a lot of foriegn movies and don’t see why they need to be remade.  The movie is said to be produced by Gore Verbinski and no word yet on when it’s going to be released.

Even though its not confirmed yet that this level is coming to the 360 version of the game this still makes me happy, and if it only makes it in to the PC version then I’ll go out and get it for PC just to kill zombies at the mall. Zombies were meant to be killed at the mall.

There’s no date yet for when this new area will be available but I’ll keep you updated!
