Billy Bob Thornton to play Krueger

BBT has been set to play Freddy Krueger in the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street.

Thornton is like in his mid 50’s and Robert Englund is in his early 60’s, I don’t know why they just didn’t bring him back. Englund is still making wacky horror movies so I don’t see him saying no to playing the character again.

Or here is another idea: Don’t remake Nightmare on Elm Street, what is it with every movie ever made ever having to be remade and rebooted?

    :?: Pretty soon were gonna haveta remake our remakes. All movies will be remakes of older ones, in the future. Just wait, in ten years or so they’re gonna remake the matrix trilogy. Hell, they already wanna remake the star wars original trilogy… :idea:
