I don’t even know what the hell is going on here, it has this straight to DVD look to it. I hate it. It’s terrible.
What is up with that gun? Did his hair have to be so pointy?

Agreed that this movie, based solely on the movie poster, looks terrible. However, that doesn’t mean it won’t also be awesome. From the name and pointy hair (oh and the DRAGONBALL) I believe the movie will be based on the extremely popular children’s anime DRAGONBALL, the precursor to the more recent Dragonball Z.
What makes this effort different from Dragonball stuff in the past is that it appears to be live-action. If you have ever watched the cartoon, you would know why this is such a ridiculous thing to attempt. I am so looking forward to LMAO over this.

@ John- I’m not much of a DB/DBZ fan, my friend loves the series though. I’m way more into Naruto and I hope they never make a live action movie based off of it like they are doing with this.
@ J. Phil- you’re right, there is always a chance that it could turn out good but that chance seems so slim because of what the movie is based on. The anime gets pretty crazy so I don’t know how they can fully capture that in a live action film. I will check it out when its released in theaters.

I know i shouldn’t be but I’m really psyched to see this movie…
I have been a fan of the dragonball (and Z/GT) series, for a long while now. And I’m curious to see how they are gonna translate this to a live medium.
If they start it off the same way but goku is just a little older, entering a tournament, then it leaves a lot of scope for sequels in the Z universe.
Also I’m dying to see Spike (James Marsters) in Piccolo make up.
As for the poster, I’m happy with it, I’m glad he has the 4-star dragonball, but what bothers me most is Goku seems a little serious, he should totally be gormless and smiling!!! perhaps with a little peace symbol.

Hell i wont even bother pointing out the obviouse, that film is just Kak!!! I have read the Manga series a million times since i was 8 and for 15years i have been waiting for the film and this the sh*t 20th fox pulls out of its ass, 99% of the fan base are well in the 20’s and they make it a PG a f*cking PG!!! its embarrassing for the fans fuck it its an insult, I wont even download it.
