The New York Asian Film Festival started a few days ago (it goes on until July 6th) and I went and checked out a few movies already. I actually only went and checked out the ones based off of video games, so far I’ve seen Chanbara Beauty and Like a Dragon (Ryu Ga Gotoku).
I went to go check out Chanbara Beauty on Friday but unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) I had a little too much to drink right before the movie so I didn’t get to see it in its entirety because I fell asleep.
I remember some zombies and some chick in a bikini named Aya who had a sword, and she used this sword to fight the zombies.
At some point I woke up and she was fighting some other chick who was in a school uniform of some kind.
I don’t remember ever seeing this little girl in the movie so I have no idea who she is or what she has to do with the movie.
And then the movie ended.
I saw Like a Dragon (Ryu Ga Gotoku) last night and I stayed awake for that one so when I post my thoughts I’m sure that I will make a lot more sense… or at least a little more sense.

I need to see this movie – I love the main actress Otoguro Eri. Shes yummy.
If Jonathon Ross did his movie reviews like this I may of watched his show more often.

@ Robbie- Hello! :cool: I didn’t intend on going to see the movie drunk, I actually normally don’t drink much. I met up with some friends beforehand for dinner and the place we went to had this new ‘frozen long island iced tea’ so I tried it and I ended up getting really drunk and then I didn’t want to miss the movie so I went to go watch it anyway.
My thoughts on stuff are normally short and to the point but usually a little more detailed then this.
I’ll be posting something on Like a Dragon later on today hopefully.
