Current Mood: Do Want!
These Gameboy plushies are made of hand-stitched felt and stand approx. 30cm tall. All parts are hand-stitched and are ready to bring you some fuzzy 8-bit love!
Awww look at these little fellows, they are so adorable! I’m seriously thinking about getting one of these for myself, my army is missing a gameboy plush. I need to think carefully about the color that I want because these cuties are made to order so you can pretty much request any color you want. File this under : DO WANT!
For information on ordering one for yourself go here.
Much like every other female that lives in NY I too was out last night watching the Sex and the City movie. It was a pretty big event the lines were huge, they started the trailers early so the movie could begin at 12 on the dot, and they even had a guest speaker before the movie.
Here is a vid of the guest speaker
and being that this weekend is totally going to be taken over by women …
So yesterday I headed over to Six Flags Great Adventure to check out the recently released Dark Knight ride. I really loved the Batman coaster and the Batman and Robin Chiller so I had high hopes for the Dark Knight.
After waiting on line for about 25 minutes (really not that bad considering that when I got off the ride the wait had gone up to 90 minutes!) I made it to the doors that lead inside to some big room where they show you a video. That’s the new big thing with rides, the room before you actually get on it so they can show you some kind of vid. So while waiting to be let inside I began chatting up one of the workers there, I asked him what happened to the Chiller because I no longer saw it on the map.
The dude then told me that it was replaced with the Dark Knight ride and then went on to angrily tell me that the Chiller was so much better…. what a great thing to hear after waiting in line for a ride right?
I was able to take vids of what was shown in the room and of the ride. This first video is actually pretty awesome and seeing it gave me hope again after that worker basically said this ride would suck.
Pretty cool right? Well after that came the ride and well… just take a look:
I have to make a note here that the reason I said ‘Woah’ was because I looked down and my glasses fell off, the ride was pretty slow moving it mostly just kind of rattled a little. Also if the video appeared dark with nothing really to see that is because that was how the ride was.
This ride was terribly boring with nothing but a few ‘Ha ha ha’s’ on a wall and a building, you don’t see Batman or the Joker or anything else really.
I will most likely never ride this again.
I wanted to write my thoughts on the Dark Knight ride but youtube isn’t working right and I had some videos that I wanted to post along with it…. So I’ll hold off on writing my thoughts until then.

Current Mood: Geeky
Ok, I’ll be away for a few hours to work on getting pics for a post maybe (hopefully a video). See, this new ride that’s based off of a movie that’s based off of a comic book character recently opened and someone should report on it right?

First Oddworld officially gets a new game (I totally forgot to post about that) and now Beyond Good and Evil officially gets a sequel. If things keep going this good we’ll maybe see a new Monkey Island , Grim Fandango, and Bust a Groove game soon.
This image recently popped up on the ESC Flickr page, it’s a sneak peek to an upcoming toy. I don’t know what it’s going to look like when its finished but its holding a chainsaw which means I want it. I’ll update when more info for the figure drops.
Hi!
I usually post a lot of random things about video games, movies, comics, manga, toys, zombies, and other geeky stuff.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you enjoy your stay!
