Here’s another bizarre real life and in-game mixed trailer, I really can’t explain why I keep posting them.
I do have a thing for bad horror movies so maybe that’s why I’ve been paying attention to this game. I think the game is like $20…. maybe I’ll check it out.
I just got my Harvest Moon: Cute cat and it reminds me of my Chan, all black cats pretty much remind me of my cat. I will hopefully find some time to check out the game later, I wanted to check out Lost in Blue 3 first but I can’t find what I did with it.
I’ll be posting some comic reviews later. Also, I’ll be announcing a giveaway in the next day or two. Want a hint? You probably don’t want this guy cutting your hair.
The image you see above was created by Pixel Fantasy by taking random pictures and inserting sprites into them. When I asked about the picture he said “I actually just found a picture online and put them in it. I thought it made perfect sense” and it does make perfect sense. Let’s see some more of his work that makes perfect sense:
I love all of these, I wish stuff like this were real that way I could see sprites walking around all the time. It would be kind of like the movie Roger Rabbit. If you want to see more of his work check here.
I love playing DDR, but I don’t usually play in the arcades because I always get nervous dance dancing in front of people. My friend Lafemmereaper kicks some serious DDR butt though, I just kick air. This cake was created by our-soulmn-hour :
20cm square fruitcake, cut up into a few blocks, then re-arranged. Can’t remember what was in the fruitcake, not that that really matters. It’s covered in marzipan and then a layer of coloured fondant icing (I used several packets).
I wanted the icing to be black, however I settled for grey – the black colouring got so messy (as I watched somebody else get black staining on their hands…that wouldn’t wash off for two days…)
It still took me three weeks just to get it to the right grey colour.
Before you DDR freaks criticize that the speakers are not meant to be that way, I was trying to stay true to the machine, but icing bags are awfully hard to control when you are learning to decorate a cake for the first time. The arrows on the screen were all piped on when the cake was standing up – ie. it was vertical. I also realise that the red “bars” (those 3D curvy bits at the front) should have a black bit on them, but I’ve left that off as it was too complicated to stick on (the black icing didn’t want to stick to anything.)
Hi!
I usually post a lot of random things about video games, movies, comics, manga, toys, zombies, and other geeky stuff.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you enjoy your stay!
