Actually I should be calling him Atomu being that it’s his original Japanese name, but I’m so used to him being called Astro boy. There are only 80 of these $10,000 figures being made, it’s made of gold and has a diamond in the star.
Don’t mind the weird little pink monster thing on the pic, I’m experimenting with ’stickers’ on pictures so you may see some random weird things here and there.
That’s a tasty looking Mario face right there! I actually only recently started liking mushrooms, I used to hate them. I had some portobello mushrooms with roast beef while on vacation this past summer and they were pretty damn delicious.
I guess the music video is a few years old but this is the first time that I’ve seen it. This is by far one of the best music videos that I have ever seen. The video is for Ken Ishii’s awesome ‘Space Invader 2003′, I need to find it and put it on my Ipod. I have a lot of video game music on my Ipod, from Kingdom Hearts to K.K. Slider’s Animal Crossing stuff. I use my Ipod as my alarm in the morning, when it goes off playing some of the Silent Hill songs it usually scares the hell out of me. Those mornings are less fun.
I saw this over on 4chan and I thought it was a really cute mix of two games (Katamari Damacy and Shadow of the Colossus). They didn’t have this in wallpaper size which makes me sad because I would have liked to have made it my background for the day. This reminds me, I need to go back to Beautiful Katamari and try to get that damn Astronomical Katamari achievement.

I read a review to this in Gamers magazine and they gave it a pretty good score, I think it was 4.5 out of 5 or something. I actually don’t go by reviews usually, I kind of just buy a lot of things blindly. This has zombies in it and its on the DS so I had high hopes for it, I’m glad to see people are liking it.
A few weeks back I wrote a post about how Buffy season 8 issue 12 was going to be the start of an ark written by Lost and Cloverfield writer Drew Goddard. The issue finally dropped last week and I wanted to post about it, but I was trying to get my new scanner to work so that I can scan/photoshop all kinds of stuff. I haven’t had the time to get everything set up right so I’ll save the scanning for another post.
Anyway, enough about my scanning issue and back to the Buffy issue. Issue 12 marked the return of some older characters, you can see Andrew in the picture above. Even though he’s back with the gang, I never really missed him. Sure he provided some good comedy, but sometimes he kind of takes away from the character Xander used to be.
Andrew isn’t the only returning character, there’s another that’s revealed at the very end. I found the 2nd returning character to be a little disappointing, I won’t post who it is because it’s meant to be a ‘big reveal’.
‘Wolves at the Gate’ has a very interesting story going so far, the slayers are attacked by vampires that have the ability to transform into wolves. Transforming vamps should give you a nice hint on who the other person is that makes a comeback in this issue.
So these vampires attack the slayers castle for what? For the scythe of course! Well they’re out of luck because it’s not in the castle, it’s in my closet. Actually, while I do have a slayer scythe in my closet it’s just a replica :-(
So with all that said, I’m really interested in seeing where this heads and I can’t wait for the next issue. Oh and there was one more ‘big reveal’ in this issue, one that I will share. Buffy has joined forces with a fellow slayer, and I’m not talking the fighting kind of forces. I’m talking the naked kind of forces.
Hi!
I usually post a lot of random things about video games, movies, comics, manga, toys, zombies, and other geeky stuff.
Thanks for coming by and I hope you enjoy your stay!
