A friendly reminder

Posted on 30th September 2007 by That Girl in TV

The premiere episode for Dexter season two airs tonight on Showtime at 9pm so if you’re home check it out if you’re not then I guess you can tivo it… Either way watch it.

I just got home a little while ago and I have about an hour to kill before I have to meet up with a friend so I am debating on if I should watch something or play something? Maybe I’ll just post more stuff on the site.

Cloverfield News (new site?)

Posted on 30th September 2007 by That Girl in Movies

Current Mood:Esctatic emoticon Esctatic

I was making my rounds through the Cloverfield sites and was happy to see that after a long period of nothingness there is a new picture of the official movie site and a possible new clue site called Taguarato.

Tagruato seems to be directly connected to Slusho but I haven’t gone through the whole site yet, though of course it talks about the deep sea. (source Dave’s Movie Corner )

Let’s take a look at the newest image added to the official site

The recipe is in Japanese but has been translated by someone over at Unfiction, one of the ingredients is deep sea nectar.

Remakes

Posted on 30th September 2007 by That Girl in Movies, TV

Current Mood:Playful emoticon Playful

Man, I have been meaning to post about this for days!

Don’t take the exclamation point as me being happy and excited for what I am about to post because its not, I just felt like putting one there.

There are two remakes that I wanted to post about lets start off with the in talks to be remade Knightrider. I forget exactly where I heard the info from I think it was from G4’s The Feed  .

From what I heard the Hoff will not be returning because he is off doing something else, what they did say was there was talk about K.I.T.T possibly being able to shape shift… and other bad cars for him to fight. Sounds a bit Transformer-ey to me. I’m not sure if they plan to make this in to a series or if it is going to be a made for T.V movie.

I read over on Dlisted about another remake thats in talks is the Karate Kid (no not a sequel a remake), Will Smiths 9 year old son is rumored to be replacing Ralph Machio’s character. I don’t think anyone can replace Pat Morita, and this movie that should be left alone.

Fatal Wii

Posted on 26th September 2007 by That Girl in Video Games

Word over on Evil Avatar is that Tecmo’s Fatal Frame will be making its way on to the Wii, which is awesome by the way because Fatal Frame is one of the scariest video game series out there. I was always to scared to play games from this series alone 0_0 and hopefully this one is no different. I didn’t see anything about a release date so stay tuned!

One Missed Call

Posted on 25th September 2007 by That Girl in Movies

In yet another movie post the poster for the American remake of the Japanese horror flick ‘One Missed Call’ is now on the web and is extremely freaky looking. Let’s take a look:

I saw the original about a year ago and it was pretty interesting but not terribly scary, there was only one real scene that got to me that took place in a T.V studio but whether or not it made it into the remake is unknown. I hope this movie comes out like the Ring and not like Dark Water where the American version is as scary if not scarier then the Japanese version. So far I think the only one that really captured the original was the Ring, and while I don’t think the original O.M.C was as good as the Ring if done right it could still end up a good movie to make me too scared to sleep for the evening.

Sourc: Shock till you drop

Another movie I am dying to see is Sweeney Todd. Now there are no new posters or anything up for that yet but I was surprised to see the amount of fake trailers for the movie on YouTube.

That’s interesting….

Posted on 25th September 2007 by That Girl in Movies

While checking out whats new on SlashFilm I read an interesting post about a movie called Teeth.

The movie was shown at the Sundance Film Festival  and from what I read people seem to really dig it (women more then men). It’s a horror movie about a high schooler named Dawn who has teeth in her vagina. Slash mentioned the indie film is said to hit select theaters in NY and Cali this November.

Nice!
