Pokemon Diamond and Pearl come out in just a few weeks and even though the stores will most likely get them in by the truck loads if you were planning on picking it up you might want to think about pre-ordering it so that you can get this nifty (and free) stylus.

By pre-ordering this game at your local EBgames/Gamestop you receive the stylus for free.

FFCC:RoF Trailer

By ThatGirl On March 31st, 2007 in Video Games /

Because Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Ring of Fates is way to long to fit into a title.
It’s also too long to say ever again so from now on I will just write out FFCCRoF.

Here is the new trailer for the upcoming FFCC:Rof for the DS.

If you’ve seen the trailer I know what you are thinking.
You’re thinking “That was the most intense log chopping I’ve ever seen!
There wasn’t much happening there but it does show you how visually great the game looks on the DS.

Delicious!

I spotted this site originally on Kotaku and automatically found myself addicted to the cuteness that is decorated lunches.
The original site is a Japanese blog where a mother post pictures of the lunches she makes for her children.

This mother not only rocks but is extremely talented and is pretty hip.

Here’s a sample of her delicious creations:

Disgaea to hit the PSP this summer?

By ThatGirl On March 30th, 2007 in Video Games /

The official word over on IGN is that Disgaea has been confirmed to be released in North America this August.
However it’s not the port of the PS2 version, which isn’t really a bad thing because it’s still a Disgaea that you can take with you anywhere.

Unlike many titles that migrate over to the system from the console, Disgaea PSP isn’t a port of the PS2 game. Instead, the story of the title is actually a prequel to the original title, and takes place right after the death of King Krichevskoy. However, instead of focusing primarily upon the adventure of Laharl, the prince of the Netherworld, Disgaea PSP highlights the story of Etna this time around. Not only will players wind up waking up Laharl and helping him along in his quest, they’ll also work on turning Etna into the Beauty Queen Ultimate Overlord that she’s always wanted to be. In fact, if players manage to achieve this status, they’ll wind up unlocking a new secret ending for the game.

There will be new editions to the gameplay as well.

For another thing, the portable title features a new multiplayer duel system that was specifically developed for North America. That means that you can challenge your friends to see who the better Netherworld strategist is

Now I can finally show my friends who the real supreme ruler is.

It’s here.

Lem me get this right..

Mario AND Sonic

Yeah that’s right. Mario AND Sonic are gonna be in the same game together. Developed by SEGA with Shigeru Miyamoto’s close eye this game could be amazing.

Basically Mario, Sonic and Co. Compete in real olympic events to see whos the best. So far the confirmed characters are Mario, Sonic, Luigi, Tails, Yoshi and Knuckles.

I dont think I can tell you how excited I am about this upcoming Wii/DS game.
Expect the game around the Holidays later this year.

A little more Jay speculation: Mario and Sonic in an olympic game may sound strange but I have a feeling this decision was made after discussions of Sonics inclusion in a somewhat popular Nintendo fighting game… wink wink.

A year after release of the popular DJ simulation game, Pentavision steps up and releases its successor. Once again, the game resembles Konami’s popular beatmania series: You take the position as DJ and are challenged to hit the correct button(s) on your PSPâ„¢ handheld at the right time to complete the song.

Anime heading to the Xbox Live Video Marketplace?

By Jayzilla On March 28th, 2007 in Everything Else /

Gamerscorebog
has an interesting story on new shows and movies that are making their way to the Xbox Live Video Marketplace. One of the new companies putting stuff out is ADV which puts out many Animes over here.

ADV Films. Top offerings from the No. 1 producer-distributor of Japanese animation (“anime”) outside Japan

Anime on Xbox live could be huge.

Also ADV puts out Air Gear and being able to download that onto my XBox would be pretty sweet.

Fo realz.

This is a big deal. A real big deal. I remember I got a saturn instead of a playstation and i was pissed. Sure I wanted the Saturn at the time. I later realized that all the cool games were on PS1. Sure I had doom and panzer dragoon and virtua cop but I didnt have metal gear solid or crash bandicoot or armored core. Where’s sonic? Sonic 3d blast? Thats not sonic. Sonic jam? I have those games. Needless to say I was pissed. Then Nights came out. Designed by Yuji “the hedgehog” Naka Nights was an amazingly fun game and it was completely worth the investment. Nights came out in 96. Ive been waiting 11 years for a seqel. Now we will all have one.
